Graduated with a J.D Degree from

Texas Tech School of Law in 1971

 

Assistant District Attorney in the Dallas County District Attorney's Office 1972 -1976

Private Practice of Law in Dallas County 1976 - 1979

Gainesville, Texas, 1979 - 1981: District Attorney in Cooke County 1981-1992 : Practice of Law in Gainesville, Texas, 1992 to Present

GISD School Board: Past President 6 Years 

License to practice in the State of Texas - 1972 and Oklahoma -  1996

Previously served on the Board of Trustees of the Gainesville Independent School District for 6 years, 3 years as President: Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club: Cooke County A&M Club.

Currently serve on the Board of Directors for Camp Sweeney for Diabetic Children.

Past President and current member of the Board of Directors of the Texas Thoroughbred Association.

Married to Ruth Echols Adams: 3 Children: 7 Grandchildren
